Jonathan & Cypress King

Senior Pastor

Jonathan King has served as the Senior Pastor of FAC since January 2023. He served as Associate Pastor since 2010. Jonathan attended Indiana Bible College and earned a degree in Biblical Studies with a Theology minor. Jonathan has been involved in ministry since he was a child. He has been involved in Children’s, Youth and Adult ministries. He currently serves as the Sectional Director for the Florida UPCI Children’s Ministry.

Cypress King has a bachelors degree from West Florida University in Education. She is an accomplished musician. Cypress loves people and teaches Salvation and Discipleship Bible Studies on a regular basis. She is the director of FAC Bible Quizzing and has led our quizzers to state and national wins. Cypress currently serves as the Promotions Director for the Florida UPCI Children’s Ministry and for the Florida District Section 1.

They have two sons, Jaxson and Tobias, who are both active in the ministry. They are both musicians and accomplished Bible Quizzers.

    Bishop

    Rev. & Sis. King faithfully served as senior pastors of First Apostolic Church for 23 years. FAC is thankful to have them continue to serve as Bishop as the kingdom of God continues to advance in Defuniak Springs.

  • Pastor James Farmer & Sister Allyson Farmer

    Assistant Pastor

    Pastor & Sis. Farmer serve as the assistant pastoral family for First Apostolic Church. As a family, they lead others as they serve in the roles of teachers, ministers of music, Celebrate Recovery pastors, Bible studies, prayer, and servanthood. Their children are an important part of their ministry and are involved in music, children’s ministry, and more.

    Student Pastor

    Pastor Cunningham & Sis. Nicole serve as student pastors at First Apostolic Church. With their two daughters, they lead in worship, teaching Bible studies, leading people to the LORD, and operating the thriving Youth/Children’s Ministry department at FAC.
